When this house was voted Best Million Dollar Home in Charlottesville, Virginia, the owners and an interior designer knew there was something still missing. The Personal touches came with a hand carved mantel. The design incorporated symbols near and dear to the owners. They live near a town called Ivy, the state flower is dogwood and one of the owners is of Scottish decent and wanted the Scottish Thistle.

After creating a halfsize drawing on the computer, we met and discussed finishes and woods. The delivery date slipped a little as the detail and creativity needed for this project was rather extensive and taxing. However, once delivered, the homeowners and Artistic Remodeling are extremely happy with the results!
